Frequently Asked Questions:

How can the course help us?
Many pitfalls await couples who try to work together to overcome a pornography problem. In this class you’ll learn the most common, and how you can work around them and stay on track to peace in your relationship and success in your quest for freedom. Many couples are able to achieve a closeness and ease of communication that exceeds what they had even before the pornography problem began.

This course is online-what do I need?
All you need is a computer with internet access and a telephone. To ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements, you can read the Setup and System Requirements or refer to the System Test Tool at Webex.

Do I need therapy or is this course enough?
This course is not therapy nor is it intended to replace therapy.

How do I know if I'm addicted?
If you wonder if you're addicted; if you've tried to stop and haven't been successful or if pornography use is problematic in your relationship, “addicted” or not, this course can help you.

I'm court ordered to attend a program, does this qualify?
No, this is not a program that satisfies court mandated treatment.

Can you assess me, or my partner?
We do not provide distance assessment through this course. YOu could contact either one of us individually and we may be able to help you or we could recommend someone in a location near to you to provide an assessment.

If we participate in the course, will we remain anonymous?
Participants will be identified by first name only, if you prefer. Participants will be from around the United States, and the likelihood is extremely low that you will know any of the other participants. Class members will have the opportunity to share some aspects of their experience in the class, but no one is required to do so.
