Hi!
Thanks for visiting this page to learn more about me.
This page has a brief summary of what I’m doing professionally and a list of my educational degrees, licenses and certificates.
There’s some photos of me on the training pages.
Mostly these days I’m teaching and consulting with other therapists on attachment and how to do Emotionally Focused Therapy around the world and online, and working with couples in prevention and workshop groups. I do supervise interns and associates in my local EFT Counseling and Education Center and keep a limited professional practice where I work with couples in Intensive Couple Therapy where my skills are best utilized. I have always been a therapist and an educator. I love working right in the process with couples who are in distress. I continue to explore a variety of ways to help the information about attachment, the process of emotion and the science
If you want to see me for therapy –
I live and practice in Southern Utah close to Zions National Park, 90 minutes away from Las Vegas. I offer Intensive Couple Therapy in a 3 day format with 1 and 2-day tune ups as needed. If you’re not conveniently located to come to see me I can refer you to another excellently trained couple practitioner.
I frequently do intensive consultation work with couples in beautiful Saint George or at their location. Couples and their on-going therapists regularly fly me in (or include me in online therapy) for intensive work and consultation sessions to assist in deepening the change process, getting unstuck or to have help moving from high distress and crises to a more hope-filled and sustaining place to build or rebuild a truly healthy and strong relationship.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in WA – LH00005813 and Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Utah #11330500-6004 and an Approved Supervisor the State of Utah and a Certified Supervisor and Trainer for EFT with Sue Johnson through ICEEFT.
I know there are lots of choices of therapists and consultants to choose from. If your relationship is in need of a therapist, and you have some schedule flexibility and want to work with someone who has some of the best training and experience possible, I hope you’ll give my office a call. I make hundreds of referrals a year and know therapists around the world who have excellent training and successful experience treating couples. If I can’t see you, I will try to connect you with another outstanding practitioner.
